What’s the Job About?

The Product Specialist ensures Wingbuddy’s travel products stay accurate, competitive, and aligned with market and partner expectations. The role blends, coordination, and quality control supporting renewals, maintaining data accuracy, and helping launch new programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Managers with renewals and updates by analyzing existing programs (itineraries, inclusions, pricing), maintaining data accuracy in the system, and managing inventory, stop sales, and product performance in line with strategic goals.
  • Oversee product quality by tracking KPIs such as NPS and customer satisfaction, maintaining regular communication with DMC partners, and helping resolve product- or supplier-related issues.
  • Keep all product information up to date and compliant with Wingbuddy standards while communicating any changes to Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate across departments to provide product-related support, assist in special projects, and contribute to improving tools or expanding the product range.
  • Participate in the development and launch of new products by uploading them into the system, ensuring quality checks, and coordinating presentations with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Contribute to performance analysis by destination and customer segment to maintain a competitive, high-quality product offering.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively and ensure accuracy in data entry.
  • Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly across multiple departments while managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for creating exceptional travel experiences.

Assets:

  • Solid understanding of the travel industry, including tour packages, DMC partnerships, and market dynamics.
  • Prior experience in travel product management or a similar role, with a hands-on understanding of product lifecycle and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with online distribution platforms (e.g., TourRadar) and digital tools that streamline product updates and sales processes.
  • Strong grasp of pricing strategies and inventory management within the tourism sector, ensuring competitive and profitable offerings.
