Interested in cruise options for the fall 2024, to Greece. Is there a "hurricane season" in that part of the world? Thanks

In summary we did have a very lovely time. It was however, very fast paced, if a few days were added and the tour was a little slower it would be more appreciated. I also think that a tour of how Olive oil is made would have been an excellent benefit. As well as a Wine Tour and how it's made as well. It was a wonderful time for sure, great memories. We could not have asked for a better driver, Luigi was the best! And our tour guide Patrizia was knowledgable and a delight. ... Read More

TUTTA L'ITALIA

13 NIGHTS / 15 DAYS
  • Day 1: USA - Rome (Italy) Flight with a good itinerary.
  • Day 2: Rome

Arrival at the airport in Rome. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting customs and transferred to your hotel in Rome. The rest of your day is free for you to relax or start your exploration of the Eternal City.

Rome captivates with its ancient ruins and vibrant culture, from the Colosseum to charming piazzas. Indulge in authentic Roman cuisine and enjoy the city's lively atmosphere, where every corner reveals a blend of history and contemporary charm.

  • Day 3: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Following the breakfast at your hotel, you will have a welcome brief with your tour leader before departing around 7:30 am from your hotel to Assisi. Upon arrival, you will have some time at leisure to explore this historic town surrounded by walls built in the Middle Ages.

After lunch at leisure in Assisi, you will continue to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the Palio, a historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square Piazza del Campo. Before moving towards Florence, you will enjoy some free time in Siena to discover the medieval city center. Check-in at your hotel before having dinner around 7h30pm. Overnight at the hotel in Florence. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 4: Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will meet your local guide for an exciting tour of Florence, known as “The Cradle of the Renaissance.” Learn how this city, with its Etruscan-Roman roots, blossomed and emerged as a vibrant center of art and culture. During your guided tour, marvel at the stunning Santa Maria del Fiore, or the Duomo, with its remarkable dome. You will see the iconic Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the beautiful exterior of the Basilica of Santa Croce, all while immersing yourself in the rich history that defines this enchanting city.

Enjoy your lunch at a typical Tuscan restaurant before spending the afternoon at leisure (return transfer to the hotel not included). You can explore the cobblestone streets of Florence or choose an optional trip to Pisa (approximately 50 euros per person, payable in cash). In Pisa, you will visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the Duomo, the world-famous Leaning Tower, and the Baptistery. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel in Florence. (Breakfast-Lunch)

  • Day 5: Florence - Bologna - Venice

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure toward Bologna where you will discover an elegant city center with its almost 40km-long porticoes that are one of the defining features of the city's architecture. From the Piazza Malpighi, you will walk to the Piazza del Nettuno and the Piazza Maggiore in the heart of the city, then you will see the Palazzo Podestà and finally the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest Gothic churches in the world. Bologna is a true food lover’s paradise so don’t miss a tasty meal for your lunch at leisure*.

*Please note that if you travel from March 22nd, 2025 onward, you will enjoy a street food experience, including a light lunch with the group.

Later in the afternoon, you will arrive in Venice, "The City of Love", one of the most romantic cities in the world and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities on Earth! Dinner at leisure and overnight at your hotel in Venice. (Breakfast - Light lunch)

  • Day 6: Venice

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Piazza San Marco and visit some of the most iconic places of the beautiful ‘Floating City’: The Palazzo dei Dogi, a symbol of Venice's glorious past, and the legendary Rialto Bridge, the oldest of four bridges spanning the Grand Canal, which is bustling with gondolas. After the walking tour, you will enjoy a taste of the famous 'Cicchetti', a Venetian variation of tapas alongside a glass of spritz or prosecco. The rest of the day is free for you to roam along Venice’s canals and palaces (return transfer to the hotel is not included). Dinner at leisure and overnight in Venice. (Breakfast - Light lunch)

  • Day 7: Venice - Montepulciano (Tuscany wine region) - Rome

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Tuscany, a stunning region known for its picturesque landscapes, historic churches, and magnificent castles. Your journey will take you to Val di Chiana, with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town famous for its "Vino Nobile," available at local wine shops. Montepulciano also hosts an annual jazz and wine festival every July. Upon arrival in Montepulciano, you will enjoy an included lunch at a typical restaurant. You will then have some free time to discover this city before making your way to Rome. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Rome. (Breakfast-Lunch)

  • Day 8: Rome

Following an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a guided morning tour of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel, using your "Skip the Line" tickets. Upon arrival, your local guide will take you through one of the world's most significant art collections. You’ll stroll through the stunning Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps, admire Raphael’s Rooms, and marvel at the Sistine Chapel, completed in the 16th century. The tour will conclude in St. Peter's Square.

You will then enjoy lunch at your leisure before making your own way (either by public transportation or taking a taxi) to the most emblematic site of Ancient Rome: The Roman Forum. You’ll embark on a 3-hour guided tour, starting with the iconic Arch of Constantine and continuing through the historic Roman Forum, once the vibrant heart of Ancient Rome.
